My name is Andrew Fusco and I am the Regimental Training Ship Commander for this upcoming year. I am from Wrentham, Massachusetts, and I went to Tri-County RVTHS. I have a twin sister who attends Louisiana State University. My life revolves around sports, whether that be watching or playing. My summer nights are usually spent watching car races at a race track. I love to go camping as well. It feels like almost every weekend over the summer I am out camping with my dad.
I am beyond grateful to be the Regimental Training Ship Commander this year. My main responsibility is to carry out the policies of the Regiment of Cadets that pertain to shipboard operations. These policies are established by both the President and the Master. I will also assist the Master and Commandant of Cadets in all matters pertaining to cadet discipline, military bearing, and coordination of the daily routine. The biggest task I will take on is sea term. Being out at sea made me fall in love with this academy and my future career. My main goal is to have cadets onboard fall in love with a sea-going lifestyle and have an optimistic outlook on their future careers. Through high standards, I look to oversee the successful production of dynamic and knowledgeable deck and engineering officers.
