Cadet Candidates woke up this morning on board the training ship, ready to depart! We left Buzzards Bay around 0845, and Cadet Candidates manned the rails got our departure. The Coast Guard was on board, and we conducted another Fire and Emergency Drill.

Throughout the day, Cadet Candidates attended a number of different briefings, all important to ship life and school life. They were informed on some of the license majors and what they do, and toured around the ship.

Mini-cruise has been a relaxing break for the Cadet Candidates, and has allowed everyone to enjoy the sights we see on the ship, and spend time with their new friends. We will see where the day takes us tomorrow!!
